SharePoint Administrator

Camp Johnson, NC

Maintains and develops all required pages, libraries, calendars and lists, within the designated SharePoint site. The site is hosted and maintained on government servers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops documents and converts information management and staff processes into functioning SharePoint pages, templates, forms, and flows.
  • Creates and maintains all aspects of SharePoint sites including: site collections, preliminary master pages/template design, Modern pages, site columns, content types, lists, libraries, PowerBI dashboards, and navigation designs.
  • Creates O365 groups to be utilized within the SharePoint Online site collection, TEAMs, Outlook, to assist users in daily tasks.
  • Manage the process of binding SharePoint online sites to TEAMs utilizing O365 groups.
  • Incorporates Microsoft Designer and various other SharePoint tools to manage and troubleshoot site.
  • Utilizes SharePoint to manage and assign permissions when developing site content structure.
  • Creates dashboards to depict institution data utilizing PowerBI apps.
  • Develops custom front-end web interfaces to extend further the base functionality utilizing Java Script Object Notation (JSON) scripting.
  • Collaborates with functional/technical leads to produce solution design documents and process flow charts.
  • Develops standard and custom solutions to implement a centralized intranet, content management and document archive locations.
  • Creates and maintains SharePoint Enterprise documentation; MISTC SharePoint topology diagrams; smart packs/user guides, change management logs, and desktop management procedures.
  • Provides MISTC SharePoint and collaborative tools training to support current operations.
  • Participates in SharePoint and collaborative tools technical forums and meetings.
  • Manages and provides assistance and procedures for using Microsoft SharePoint Online and MS TEAMs as an Information Management tool.
EDUCATION
  • ​​​​Minimum of a High School Diploma—Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a computer-related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE
  • 3 years related work experience.

  • Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in a technical environment.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Windows and MS Office.
  • Recent experience working within a Battalion or Regimental Operations Section.
  • CompTia Sec+ certification.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
  • A Secret security clearance is required for this position.
