Influence Operations Planning

Quantico, VA

Provide support to influence planning focused on the functions of Psychological Operations (PSYOP) and Civil Military Operations (CMO). 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the execution of PSYOP Planning to support forward deployed elements and/or requested supporting establishments.
  • Assist in drafting appropriate level orders and other documents to incorporate influence activities into standing plans.
  • Assist in the review and recommendations for influence plans for compliance with legal and policy requirements.
  • Assist MCIOC coordination with CCMD planners to ensure planning efforts are nested with ongoing or planned CCMD plans.
  • Assist MCIOC coordination with external organizations to support or conduct the PSYOP 7-Step Planning Process.
  • Participate in OPTs and Working Groups (WG).
  • Assist in the analysis and review of MAGTF component plans to OPLANS and CONPLANs for opportunities to integrate influence efforts.
  • Support MCIOC training support requirements either as a part of unit training or as a part of external requirements.
  • Support DOTMLPF requirements.
  • Support other Influence Operations tasks.
EDUCATION
  • MA/MS Degree.
EXPERIENCE
  • Seven + years of experience.
  • Experience in planning influence, the utilization of military planning processes, e.g. JPP, PSYOP 7-Step Process, JPP,
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
  • May require off-site support and periodic CONUS and OCONUS travel. 
  • Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company’s auto insurance provider.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
  • A TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.
