Provide support for proper scheduling, conduct, and documentation of maintenance management inspections for MCIOC maintenance commodities. Conducting internal maintenance management inspections in accordance with Command General's and Field Supply Maintenance Analysis Office (FSMAO) checklists.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the scheduling and documentation of (annual), arrange, conduct, and document MCIOC commodities to attend appropriate recurring maintenance management training. This training is placed on the MCIOC annual training calendar and published to all commodity sections.
  • Inspect the annual maintenance training plans and compiles them into a package as an addendum for the Operations section.
  • Inspect turnover folders and desktop procedures, quarterly at a minimum or as dictated by policy letter or MCIOC MMO guidance. This may also occur during internal inspections and desktops/turnovers training.
  • Assist in the retrieval and interpretation of GCSS-MC and TDM Catalyst reports, make recommendations for corrective action, prepare monthly Maintenance Management reports to the MMO and participate in briefs to the Commanding Officer on the status of MCIOC Maintenance issues.
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
EXPERIENCE
  • Five + years of experience.
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of best business practices that would improve MCIOC maintenance and maintenance management tactics, techniques, and procedures.

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company’s auto insurance provider.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
  • A TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.
