Intelligence Analyst—Signature Management Collections

Quantico, VA

Monitoring Marine Corps operations to enable understanding and management of MAGTF administrative, physical and technical signatures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and monitor Marine Force signals and geospatial collection operations.
  • Coordinate with other Services, USMC Intelligence Department, Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA), and intelligence community partners, to support Government development of collections processes and policies for Marine Force signature monitoring.
  • Coordinate with Headquarters Marine Corps, MAGTF, and Training and Education Command (TECOM) exercise planners to identify priority activities within exercises for Marine Force collection opportunities.
  • Coordinate with other Services, USMC Intelligence Department, MCIA, and intelligence community partners to support the analysis of observed administrative, physical and technical signature characteristics.
  • Coordinate with the National Reconnaissance Office, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, and the Joint COMSEC Monitoring Agency (JCMA), to support USMC Marine Force monitoring.
  • Coordinate with the National Security Agency and Marine Cryptologic Office to support Marine Force monitoring.
  • Coordinate with MAGTF intelligence sections to incorporate organic collection methods into a Marine Force signature monitoring collections plan.
  • Provide advice and recommendation, gather information, and perform other non-discretionary services for draft : Memorandums of Understanding, Initial Needs Statements, Letters of Consent, Proper Use Memorandums, and other policy and supporting documents required to enable the Marine Force signature monitoring operation.
  • Assist with field user evaluation for IRC equipment in support of MCCDC, Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL), and other organizations.
  • Assist with the development of signature management related execution and assessment of experimentation for materiel and non-materiel gap solutions.
  • All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION
  • Some accredited college level education.
EXPERIENCE
  • Three + years of experience.
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • knowledge and experience in service and joint geospatial, signals intelligence collection tasking mechanisms, and the service Departmental Requirements Office (DRO) processes.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
  • May require off-site support and periodic CONUS and OCCONUS travel.
  • Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company’s auto insurance provider.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
  • A TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.
