Cybersecurity/ IT Support Services

Twentynine Palms, CA
The Cybersecurity/ IT Support Services will operate, troubleshoot, and maintain exercise systems (M&S and C2) that are used to support MCLOG exercises/training events/wargames, and exercises/training events/wargames in which MCLOG participates.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and maintain Assessment and Authorization (A&A) related documentation, Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M), Security Plan (SSP), Vulnerability Scans, Security Assessment Report (SAR), Contingency Plans, Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) Plans, Cyber Security Waiver Requests, Cyber Security Waiver Extension Requests, and FISMA related reporting requirements within Marine Corps Certification and Accreditation Support Tool (MCCAST).
  • Implement Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs), Operational Directives (OpDirs), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and industry best practice.
  • Perform weekly Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)/Security Compliance Automation Protocol (SCAP) scans of target systems and devices on networks.
  • Create and/or modify the Information Systems Security Plan.
  • Conduct policy compliance audits.
  • Apply established cybersecurity procedures and safeguards.
  • Produce and monitor required site accreditation packages. 
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Must have Computing Environment (CE)/Operating System (OS) Certificate.
  • Certification in one of the following five certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP ,GSEC, Security+ CE ,SSCP.
  • Experience with: Windows 2008R2 and 2012R2, Windows Server Update Services, VLANs, and Call Center Manager, as well as network security.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and/or SharePoint.
WORKING CONDITIONS 
  • Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and maintain focus. 

SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS 

  • Occasional travel may be required. 
  • Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company’s auto insurance provider. 

SECURITY CLEARANCE  

  • A Secret Clearance is required for this position. 

ESTIMATED ANNUALIZED COMPENSATION 
  • $75,000- $97,500
