Senior Joint Exercise Logistics Integrator - Marine

The Sr. Joint Exercise Logistics Integrator will provide analysis, exercise design, scenario development, and exercise products to MCLOG personnel and personnel participating in MCLOG training programs in the fundamentals, principles, techniques, processes and best practices associated with the execution of U.S. military logistics operations at the operational and tactical level of war. 

  • Assist government lead in exercise/wargame planning and design (e.g., Concept Development Conference (CDC), Initial Planning Conference (IPC), Main Planning Conference (MPC), and Final Planning Conference (FPC)) to support MCLOG exercises/training events/wargames and exercises/training events/wargames in which MCLOG participates. 
  • Create higher headquarters exercise orders/products to ensure that Joint constructive training environment replicates and the area of operations.
  • Create exercise scenarios that realistically and plausibly support training objectives. 
  • Use Joint exercise design knowledge, the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP), and Naval Expeditionary Force (NEF) concepts to provide a constructive training environment for exercises/training events/wargames to observe learning outcomes. 
  • Develop geographically-specific, reality-based, theater-level logistics scenarios, threads, and injects for inclusion into Joint Master Scenario Events List (JMSEL) for MCLOG exercises/training events/wargames. 
  • Observe the actions and decision making of commanders and senior staff members of logistics organizations at the Group, Regimental and Battalion level during execution of MCLOG exercise/training events/wargames and exercises/training events/wargames in which MCLOG participates. Analyze observations and synthesize all available inputs into formal and informal after action reviews (AARs) and a Final Exercise Report (FER) that are presented to the training audience and to Higher Headquarters. 
  • Provide recommendations to design future exercises to more effectively train commanders of logistics organizations and senior logistics staff officers. 
  • Military Experience in Joint Exercises level involving combat service support units and related equipment. 
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Practical knowledge of exercise systems (Modeling and Simulation (M&S)/Command and Control (C2)) systems capabilities is required.
  • Knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at the Joint operational command level. 
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and/or SharePoint. 
  • Provides exercise design expertise to all areas of the MCLOG program. 
  • Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and maintain focus. 


  • Occasional travel may be required. 
  • Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company’s auto insurance provider. 


  • A Secret Clearance is required for this position. 


  • $95,000- $117,500
