Red Team Analyst

Camp Pendleton, CA
The Red Team Analyst reports to and receives work direction derivatives from the Task Order Lead.  The Red Team Analyst will perform the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review and support the execution of planning Operations Plans (OPLANS) and Contingency Plans (CONPLANS), development of strategies and screening processes, crisis action planning, deliberate planning, command and staff actions, and component/war fighter interactions.
  • Assist in the development of training and education plans including exercises and war games; identify, collect, filter, and disseminate information with multiple levels of security.
  • Provide recommendations to technical documentation of requirements for inclusion in the joint requirements process.
  • Provide SME support for development of assessment frameworks, identify challenges and opportunities, and provide recommendations to overcome group dynamics challenges and developing defensible allocation methods across the I MEF staff.
  • Analyze decision-making in the Marine Corps and ways to enhance defenses against enemy information operations beyond information security and information systems security; design training/instruction to accomplish this for both junior Marines and senior officers.
  • Provide SME support to training of MEF Intelligence Center (MIC) analysts which Red Team tools and techniques are most effective for intelligence analysis and how to use them effectively.
  • Provide SME support for the development of end states, objective, and metrics in support of I MEF preparations for future war capability development.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Fifteen (15) years of experience and a MA/MS degree.
  • Attended Professional Military Education appropriate to rank at time of separation or retirement from the uniformed service. 
  • Experience on a 2 Star or 3 Star staff is desired.
  • Graduate of the University of Foreign Military and Cultural Studies Red Team Course preferred.
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong communications and presentation skills.
  • Experience in the Marine Corps serving at the MEF MAGTF level
  • Experience with the Marine Corps Planning Process or Military Decision Making Process
  • Familiarity with Marine Corps service-level concepts and doctrine
  • Graduate of a service or industry equivalent Red Team course or three years’ experience
  • Expected to perform independently and exercise good judgment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus
  • Qualification as an authorized company driver is required
  • All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company’s auto insurance provider
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
  • Ability to obtain or have a security clearance.
  • 15-25% travel expected.
  • Position expected to begin on or about 22 Jan 2021.
